Behind every result, medal, or milestone is someone navigating pressure, self-doubt, and the challenge of balancing wellbeing with ambition. I know this from the inside: years at the top of professional sport, private struggles with mental health, and the journey to rebuild myself.

Mentoring is my way of supporting others on that same path – whether you’re navigating the natural pressures of competing at the highest level or simply struggling day to day without support and direction.

I reached the level I’d always dreamed of.. But it didn’t feel how I thought it would. Even after big wins, there was no joy, just relief that I hadn’t messed up. That relief quickly turned into anxiety about the next game. The higher I climbed, the heavier it became.

I learnt that success means nothing if you can’t feel it. Discipline and sacrifice are part of the journey, but the constant fear and added internal pressure doesn’t have to be. Performance anxiety, fear of failure and perfectionism kept me in survival and limited my potential. Prolonged suffering forced me to face these issues and learn how to move beyond it.

Now, I help Athletes, Leaders, Entrepreneurs, all find that same freedom – unlocking peak performance, moving beyond limiting fears, and rediscovering the joy in the journey of top end performance.

Young Athlete Mentoring

Pressure and stress are part of high-level sport, and young athletes with big expectations often feel this weight early on. It can impact performance and wellbeing, taking the joy and freedom out of the game. This programme builds self-awareness so children carry only what helps them grow.

This bespoke programme offers one-to-one performance and psychological coaching, with optional parent involvement aimed to strengthen the support network and connection at home. When sport and school dominate life, we need to ensure home becomes a place to unwind, reflect, and connect.

The focus is on separating identity from sport, understanding external pressures, and helping young athletes stay grounded and enjoying what they do while developing the resilience to thrive, whatever the outcome. This process brings the joy back into sport and allows for complete authentic expression that exists behind fear.

At the height of my career, after representing England and playing in Australia, I hit rock bottom. Losing my little brother a year later changed everything. It forced me to face my unhappiness and rebuild from within.
